How It Works
A transformable clothing brand created in London made from Blocks.
Squares of fabric become building blocks to making things your own or making things yourself.
We made a simple lacing system to make it easy for anyone to attach the Blocks together to create garments and accessories.
You can get garments as seen on the site or you can get the blocks unravelled to make garments yourself. Don’t worry, we will include instructions.
You can swap out the blocks or add new ones to change lengths, colours, fabrics and styles. You can make something entirely new or use the blocks to style and update your current wardrobe. You can send us your old garments to make into blocks too.
No sewing, no cutting, no fixed outcome. Just endless experimentation.
Step 1:
Pick Your Garment.
We have four collections Meji, Marun, Mewaa and Ogun which determine level of difficulty. You can learn more about each collection below.
Step 2:
Pick Your Fabric.
Keep it as the sample image shown or select fabric from the intimate moments page. You can also supply your own fabric and garments that we make into Ebunoluwa Blocks for you.
Step 3:
Pick Your State.
Pick ravelled where we create the garment for you or unravelled and you are sent the pack to create the garment yourself. Easy instructions included in both in case you need.
Step 4:
Buy and wait.
While you wait for your order, which takes 14 days, you can find some inspiration on our social media pages.
Step 5:
Cause chaos!
Build, transform and wear your new garment to your hearts desire, and when you get bored, undo it and make something else.
DIFFICULTY EXPLAINED
Meji
(meaning 2 or double Yoruba)
Up to 2 Blocks and the easiest to assemble.
A toe dip in the water of a potentially potent paradise.
Marun
(meaning 5 in Yoruba)
Up to 5 Blocks and relatively easy to assemble.
Enough to make something small and strange.
Mewaa
(meaning 10 in Yoruba)
Up to 6-10 Blocks and lot more challenging.
A reminder that dressing up doesn’t have to make sense.
Ogun
(meaning 20 and the God of war in Yoruba)
11 Blocks and beyond. The hardest to assemble.
Sculptural. Excessive. Slightly impractical. Beautiful for no reason.
